Jose Molina’s Achievement Antonio Lopez Habas as Head Coach of the Mohun Bagan Super Giants

The appointment of Jose Molina as the new head coach of Mohun Bagan is a significant development. It’s confirmed. the Mohun Bagan Super Giants’ new head coach, taking over for Antonio Lopez Habas. RevSportz has received confirmation from a reliable source in Spain that Molina, the former ISL champion coach of the now-defunct Atletico De Kolkata, will rejoin Kolkata to manage the current ISL Shield champions.

Molina is a seasoned coach with a wealth of experience. He has led various Spanish teams, notably Villarreal in La Liga. In addition, he has managed Getafe B, Villarreal B and C, and San Luis Club under his coaching career.

Under the direction of Spanish head coach Antonio Lopez Habas, who joined the team in the middle of the season following Juan Ferrando’s departure, Mohun Bagan won the ISL 2023–24 Shield. Habas consented to stay with the team, but for personal reasons he was hesitant to stay on as head coach. As a result, the Green and Maroon administration made the decision to name another Spanish head coach, selecting Jose Molina to succeed Habas.

When Mohun Bagan wins the ISL Shield, they are guaranteed a spot in the elite AFC Champions League 2. In an attempt to put on a strong show at this premier tournament, the team looked about for a well-known head coach and eventually came to an arrangement with Molina, who will be returning to his home city of Kolkata.

In the league’s third season, Molina led ATK to the ISL championship. Molina faces a formidable battle in his new role with Mohun Bagan SG, though, as one of the biggest fan groups in the nation has high expectations for him.
