The roguelike precision platformer Duck Paradox will be fully released on October 9th for PC on Steam and GOG.

Green Bay, WI (September 18, 2024) – Midwest Games, a publisher led by industry veterans dedicated to promoting talent in the Midwest and underrepresented areas, has partnered with developer Magic Games to reveal that Duck Paradox, their acclaimed bullet bouncing roguelike platformer, will be released on Windows PC through Steam and GOG on October 9, 2024. Dr. Paraducks’ duck, Quark, is missing in a time warp! Is she able to locate it among the endless fake ducks?

Duck Paradox leads players through space-time, dimensions, and multiverses on a journey. Take on the role of Dr. Paraducks, an intelligent scientist trying to find her favorite pet duck, Quark, who got lost in time due to a defective time machine. Equipped with a reliable ray gun and a positive attitude, gamers will confront perilous environments filled with corrupt imposters. Jump over dangerous platforms while shooting bouncing bullets at groups of flying enemies. Every missed shot from the ray gun increases the danger by bouncing off walls, contributing to Dr. Paraducks’ problems. Shoot accurately and strategically while avoiding dangerous obstacles and deadly pixelated pits.

Take your time to pause time and navigate through challenges and obstacles. Obtain protective shield bubbles first, then place explosive traps to eliminate duck impostors while safely guiding your duck. Choose from random upgrades at the conclusion of each level, testing out different builds after each reset. Pet lovers must maintain a calm demeanor as they navigate through over 50 challenging levels or choose to unlock and demonstrate their perseverance in the never-ending Survival mode.
