Diljit gave an intriguing story regarding his early hesitation to join Jatt & Juliet 3 in an interview with News18. “Darshan Singh Grewal, the producer of Jatt and Juliet, and I had disagreements while the movie was being filmed. I wanted to go see the film and turn it down in person when I received the movie offer. Because of our past, I had gone to his office to decline the offer. I went to his office and he signed a blank cheque in a very movie-star manner, saying, ‘Paaji, fill the amount, I want to do a film with you.’ I didn’t anticipate this,” he continued.
