Diljit disclosed an intriguing story of nearly declining Jatt & Juliet 3 in an interview with News18. “My producer, Darshan Singh Grewal, and I had issues with one another throughout the filming of Jatt and Juliet 1. I thus desired to see the film in person and turn it down when the cinema offer was made. Given our past interactions, I had gone to his office to decline the offer. When I got to his office, he told me, “Paaji, fill the amount, I want to do a film with you,” and signed a blank cheque in a very movie-star manner. He remarked, “I didn’t anticipate this.”
