The final of the Champions Trophy 2025 can take place on this day, according to an ICC search window.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin on February 19 and conclude with a tournament final on Sunday, March 9. A 19-day term has been designated by the ICC.

The Champions Trophy window for 2025 has been determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is anticipated that Pakistan would serve as the tournament’s host nation and that it will take place in February or March. Pakistan will soon begin making preparations for this, as per a report by Cricbuzz, the Champions Trophy 2025 tournament might begin on February 19 and conclude on March 9.

Following a minor discussion between ICC and other nations, a 19-day window has been established for this eight-team competition. It will be the first time this competition has been planned since 2017. The previous final saw India and Pakistan square off. That championship match was won by Pakistan. But while the window has been determined, details regarding the matches remain unknown.

According to the article, there was a prior belief that the competition would begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday. However, the competition is scheduled to start on Wednesday (February 19) based on the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 timetable that has been made public. However, the March 9 final will actually take place on Sunday. Regarding the 2017 version, it took place over the course of eighteen days, beginning on Thursday, June 1st, and concluding on Sunday, June 18th.

It appears that the member boards have been informed of the Champions Trophy’s approximate dates so they can modify their league schedules appropriately. The third edition of ILT20 is scheduled to take place from January 11 to February 9, coinciding with the third season of SA20. SA20’s third season will premiere on January 9 and run through February 8. Therefore, these two leagues won’t compete with the major event.

It is still unclear, though, whether every Champions Trophy match will take place in Pakistan because the current Indian government’s approach to Pakistan is anticipated to persist after it returns to power. Pakistan might not be compelled to host this competition using a hybrid format, similar to Asia Cup 2023, under such circumstances. But as of yet, no formal comment has been released by the ICC, PCB, or BCCI.
