Devara (2024) Movie Explained Part 1

Hey guys, welcome back to the screen savi. Today I am going to explain Devra part 1 movie. The movie is very good.

I feel like watching it again and again. It will be very hard to wait for its part 2 if you watch the first part completely. Just like Bahubali’s first part ended, this movie will make its pen.

So in the starting, Roh has got intel that two gangsters Yati and Daya are going to do something big in the cricket world cup championship. Yati helps Daya from India. Now the special task force’s officer Raghav went to the border of Tamil Nadu to find Yati.

Yati’s goods come from the sea. Yati came here two months ago to hire some people to get his goods out of the sea. He has been missing since then.

So Raghav is looking for those people who do such things. To escape from the coast guard from the middle of the sea and steal goods. In a way, the sea robbers.

Only they can tell where Yati is. Raghav also found out that the DSP of this area and Morrogan pay them in return for this work. Raghav also made a false story and went to the DSP that I also have to get my goods out so that I can reach those robbers.

So while finding out about such people from the Red Sea, Raghav found out about Dhaira. He goes to him and asks for help in getting the goods out. But Dhaira has stopped this work.

Raghav is greedy to give him more money, otherwise he will force him to do this work. So Dhaira gets angry. These officers kill him and drive him away.

Now Raghav was thinking in the middle of how to find out from those people. He found Singappa here. Singappa knew that Raghav has come to get his goods out.

So before telling the story of this Red Sea to Raghav, he took him inside the sea. Here Raghav is greedy to give his diamond ring to Singappa. If Singappa gets his work done by those robbers, then Singappa threw that ring in the water.

The diamond ring was very expensive, so Raghav jumps into the water to take it. Here he saw a lot of dead bodies. Who has killed so many people under the sea? Now the question was that Raghav was very scared to see that scene.

Now Singappa tells the story of the four villages on the shore of the Red Sea. The people of this place have never let the enemies enter the sea to serve the country long before the British. They fought like brothers.

They killed all the enemies. Then even during the time of the British, when the British were coming here to loot from this way, they also killed them and turned the sea red with blood. But when the country was free, there was never such a threat.

The brave people here had no work left to earn. The government never thought about these people that how do they live, what do they do, what do they eat? While they have been serving the country for centuries. So now the people here had to do illegal work to feed their stomach.

Smugglers used to give them a good price for their talent. The talent was that they used to steal goods from the middle of the sea and bring them here on the mountains. Until today, the coast guards never suspected them, nor were they caught.

The heads of these four villages went to steal the men of their village. Devra thought that apart from his village, the other three villages were also his family. He used to safely bring everyone back after stealing from the Red Sea.

Everyone respected Devra a lot because Devra used to help everyone. Devra was like a god for the people of the village. Apart from this, Bhaira used to take the children of his village for this work, even though he knew how dangerous it was there.

Bhaira and Devra may not be good, but they were friends. Bhaira wanted to kill the guards on his way just for fun. But Devra never let him do this.

When these people used to steal and come back, Devra never took this seriously. He didn’t like his work at all. Today he has come back after stealing.

Devra’s mother and her son Vara did not sleep until they saw Devra. Devra always used to tell his son the great stories of his ancestors. How he bravely saved the country from the enemies.

But Vara does not want to listen to the stories of Devra’s forefathers, but his father Devra. Devra tells Vara the truth that his work is wrong. He has never done any great work like his ancestors.

Then came the time of weapon worship in the village. There is a fight after this worship. Two people from all four villages come down to fight.

Whoever wins, the weapons go to their village. Devra has been winning this fight for many years. And the weapons go to his village.

From these four villages, the people of Rayappa’s village work to sail the boat. The people there can’t fight. So Devra wants us to stop this practice.

And every year, one by one, everyone should be allowed to take weapons. Otherwise, Rayappa’s village will never be able to take the weapons. But Bhaira gets fun in this fight.

It was a great thing to fight for this. He challenges Devra to win the fight and is allowing his father to take the weapons. Now the fight started.

The two villagers lost quickly. Then there was a fight between Devra and Bhaira. Their fight was like two elephants fighting.

No one was ready to bow. Both were red with blood and it was morning. Devra was still standing on his feet.

Bhaira didn’t give up, but Bhaira was the one who got hurt the most. So Devra won the fight and let Rayappa take the weapons. Tonight Devra gets a bad dream that his sea has turned red with blood.

And Devra has done this work himself. Devra always avoided fighting. He never wanted to shed blood.

So such a dream was a sign of some big danger. Then the villagers who were going to the city. The thieves killed them all and looted their belongings.

One of them was a boy from Devra’s village. Devra is taking care of that girl’s family. Because his father died while working in the sea.

So the girl’s mother didn’t want her son to do such a job. But people are not safe in the city either. Devra gets disturbed by this scene.

For this, all the villagers are his own. Now another item of smuggler Murugan is coming. So the villagers are ready to steal it.

But Devra is still telling to be a little careful. Because the security of the coast guards has increased. If all of them are caught, then what will happen to the rest of the family? But along with Bhaira, the rest of the villagers are also going to steal.

If something happens to them, Devra will handle everything here. Then Rayappa tells Devra that if he didn’t go with him, then maybe someone could come back. Devra is the only one who can bring them back.

He should come along. Devra agreed. But then what Devra was afraid of happened.

The coast guards caught these people. The officer has heard the story of their ancestors and is proud of them. But this generation of theirs has become a threat to their own country.

These people bring things like guns, bombs, drugs into the country. Due to which attacks take place everywhere and innocent people die. That boy from the village of Devra was also killed by these weapons.

Now no one is safe because of these villagers. Then Bhaira opens his hands and he attacks the officers with the rest of the villagers. These people had now become animals while stealing.

Until now they used to steal to feed their people. But today these people who consider themselves brave are also ready to kill others. Devra now starts stopping his people.

This officer could not save him from getting hurt, but saves his life. And promises that after today he will never let wrong goods come into the country. Now all the villagers agree and come back to the mountains.

But today Devra did not let that Malmurugan go. He alone throws those containers down the mountain. There were bombs in them, they explode.

Even then the rest of the villagers did not understand that they are damaging themselves by bringing goods into the country. They only care about money. Then Devra made a cross mark on a man’s back and warned that if anyone goes to do anything wrong in the water, Devra will kill him.

Devra was the most powerful in all the villages. It was not their ability to defeat him, but still some people tried to go. And Devra also made a cross mark on his back and left him.

Now no one dared to go to the sea in fear. People just went to catch fish in the water. But people like Bhairav and others like him started to stop working because of Devra, so they hated him.

Devra became an enemy for them. Then one day Rayappa’s blind sister tried to commit suicide. Because the burden of her marriage was on Rayappa.

And she didn’t want to bother her brother much. Then Bhairav fixed her marriage with her brother. This was Bhairav’s plan so that he could kill Devra in the marriage.

As long as Devra is conscious, these people can’t even go to him. Devra has a family in all the four villages. He went to the wedding.

There, on the pretext, Bhairav’s men make Devra drink a lot of liquor. But Devra was still not losing consciousness. Then Bhairav forces Rayappa to help him kill Devra.

Otherwise, he waits for his sister’s death. Rayappa agreed to help Bhairav. He tells Devra that some people are going to rob the coast.

So Devra went there in that state of intoxication. But there was no one here. So Devra lies down to rest a little.

Here Bhairav had called 40-50 people outside to kill Devra. A village head was also helping him. Devra’s anger opens and he kills all of them.

Then in the morning, when all the villagers came here, Devra was not here. He hung the dead bodies and left a note. If these people will always see Devra, they will never be afraid.

That’s why Devra is going away from everyone in the sea. Devra will only come when someone will get into the water to do wrong. After seeing this note and so many dead bodies, no one dared to get into the water for the next two years.

But then some people went to steal again on the instigation of Bhairav. Then Devra suddenly came in the middle of the sea and killed them and sent them to the shore. Now no one will go to steal, because I don’t know when and where Devra will come.

Because of this, Bhairav’s anger had increased a lot. He took advantage of the fight between the villagers in the Sastra Pooja and killed a lot of Devra’s villagers. One man will never be able to stand on his feet again.

Maybe then Devra would have come to take revenge, but Devra did not come. After that, this fight, which was going to be in the Sastra Pooja forever, was stopped. Bhairav then picked up the small children of the village and started training them.

Bhairav started making a heartless army like himself. 12 years passed like this and Bhairav prepared animals like himself, who are just waiting for Bhairav’s one order so that they can go to the sea and kill Devra. On the other side, Devra’s son had also grown up.

He was completely different from his father. Bhairav was a coward. He was also afraid of fighting.

All the villagers knew this and did not respect him at all. Devra’s blood is inside him, but he is a coward. Bhairav started hating his father because Devra had never come to meet him for 12 years.

He also left his family behind. Then Devra’s mother tells him that all the villagers are his family for Devra. He has gone far for everyone’s good, but Vara does not understand this.

He hates Devra. Apart from him, Raipa’s daughter Thanga also grew up. She needs a strong and good-hearted husband.

But poor thing’s heart has come to Vara. Vara is neither strong nor good-hearted. So she is just waiting for the day when Vara will become strong or when someone like this will be found.

For many years, after the Sastra Pooja, they were going to the village of Sastra Bhairav. So the blessings of the gods were not getting to the rest of the villagers. People in Vara’s village started getting sick.

But no one had any hope from Vara. He will not be able to do anything. So Vara went to Bhairav to talk about this.

And he requests him to let him go to his village this year. But Bhairav is telling him to go to the seaside and cry. Maybe Devra will come from there and take weapons for his village.

Now Vara agreed to fight in the Sastra Pooja. Before coming to the fight, a man had to drink a juice. Vara’s friends mixed something intoxicating in it.

With which they were killing Vara. But Vara succeeded in defeating them. Here everyone had seen Vara fighting for the first time.

Vara won that fight. And the weapons were taken to Vara’s village. But the next day everyone came to know the truth of Vara.

Bhairav wanted to take revenge from the villagers of Vara. But Rayappa told Bhairav that even though Vara won the fight because of intoxication. But look at the condition of these people.

They are not even able to stand. Vara has the blood of his father Devra in him. He is a coward.

So let him stay there. What will happen if another Vara stands on the mountains? Bhairav agrees. He did nothing to Vara.

Then one of Bhairav’s men wants to go to Jog to earn money. Because he is not able to do anything here. Bhairav has trained him to kill Devra for so many years.

And now he wants to leave him. Bhairav sent his other men to hunt him together in the jungle. These people killed him like animals.

Now Bhairav was ready to go to the sea with his people. These people will also bring Devra’s head along with the goods. But Muruga does not want to take this risk.

Devra will also kill him if he brings his goods here. Bhairav will have to kill Devra first. Then Muruga will do the work.

Now Bhairav’s men spread the news all over that Devra is dead. Hearing this, Devra’s mother, who is still waiting for Devra to return, gets seriously ill. If she does not see Devra, she will die.

This was Bhairav’s plan. So that Devra comes to meet his mother and these people kill Devra. Devra came here to meet his mother.

Then he was going back from the back road. Then Bhairav’s people run after him to kill him. But Devra does not kill these people.

He escaped and went back to the sea. Devra used to kill these people only when he did wrong. This makes Muruga believe that Devra has become weak now.

He will not be able to fight Bhairav’s men. So he ran away in fear. He agreed to send Bhairav to the sea to bring goods.

Now all the people of the village had begun to understand that they would kill Devra. That’s why Bhairav’s men misbehave with Devra’s daughter. And after killing Devra, they threatened to destroy him.

Uma tells this to her mother instead of telling this to Devra. These people will die of poison, but they will not let anything happen to Uma. When Devra found out about this, he was very angry.

He goes and kills those men a lot. So much so that one man died. The next day, Devra went to apologize to Bhairav.

He says that I did not kill so much that I died. Bhairav’s men were at fault. Bhairav should not do anything to the villagers.

Bhairav is not Devra’s side, but Bhairav’s side. Bhairav tells Vara to go with him to steal goods. So that Devra can see his son there and stop for a while.

And these people kill Devra. Vara agrees. But then one man broke Bhairav’s right hand.

So that Bhairav could not go to the sea. Devra had killed his father. So he wants to kill Devra himself.

Now these people went to the sea and a big twist. Vara is not a coward. He was pretending to be a coward in front of everyone here.

But secretly he is killing all the men of Bhairav. Vara is as powerful as his father Devra. Vara killed all of them and made a cross on their back like his father.

Then he brought it to the shore. Only a few trusted people know this secret of Vara. Singappa knows this.

Vara comes here and tells Singappa to make such a cross on his back. So that the villagers have this trust that Devra has killed them all. And Vara is also Bhairav’s side.

Now the movie comes to the present. Where Singappa is telling the story of Devra to Raghav. Singappa tells that Devra’s death was in the attack of that wedding.

Since then, Devra’s son Vara has made fear of Devra. There was no one else to kill Devra, but Vara. With this, the first part of the Devra movie ended here.
