In Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan feels like a breeze! His humorous narrator gives the film a fantastic start. With Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan is completely shattering the stereotype of the “Pyaar ka Punchnama” kid for everybody.

Both his boxing and wrestling routines and his outfit as the elderly Murli Petkar are impressive. You can laugh and cry with him in every scene because he plays the real-life hero so well and without going overboard. He also appears very natural in every scenario.

The tale is written pretty nicely, and the direction is excellent. When it comes to the drawbacks, Chandu Champion has very few. The storyline becomes a little too uneven in the middle, and the second half loses a little bit of its momentum and becomes a little bit repetitive. If not, Chandu Champion could be among the greatest releases of 2024!

Concerning The Chandu Champion

This is the tale of India’s Wonder Boy, who has always aspired to represent his country with a gold medal at the Olympics. Murli Petkar’s narrative is told by Kartik Aaryan. How the man goes from serving in the armed forces, learning boxing, and hoping to win an Olympic gold medal for India to experiencing a life-altering tragedy.

The protagonist of this tale is Murli Petkar, a 1960s army recruit who was raised in a low-income Maharastrian family. He takes up boxing, and he quickly qualifies for the Olympics by placing second in the World Army Championship.

Following this incident, he is deployed to Kashmir in 1965 amid the Indo-Pak conflict, where he tragically takes several bullet wounds that cause paralysis from the waist down. Despite being heartbroken by his loss, he continues to train as a swimmer for the Paralympic Games with the support of Ali, who served as a buddy, mentor, and supporter.
