In both instances, fans were prompt in questioning if the game truly required a remaster, but the discussion really escalated when The Last of Us 2 Remastered was unveiled earlier this year- just under four years after the game’s initial release.

However, Sony’s PS5 remaster projects have been somewhat strange because we are used to receiving many free upgrades on the new console, such as the 60 FPS patch for Horizon. I’m simply wondering if Sony will at least hold off until the PS6 before releasing the inevitable Horizon Forbidden West remaster.
