Report: Ricochet Notifies WWE That He Won’t Be Continuing Under Contract
When his contract ends over the summer, Ricochet reportedly notifies WWE that he will be leaving the business.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider claims that Ricochet has already told WWE that he intends to leave the organisation. The former US Champion will therefore soon be removed from any WWE storylines that feature him. Although the exact date of Ricochet’s contract’s expiration is unknown, it is believed to occur sometime in the summer.
According to a PWInsider source close to WWE, they give the superstar credit for “betting on himself.” It’s unclear which specific corporation Ricochet has in mind. When he does, though, he will undoubtedly be among the most desirable free agents in wrestling.
After having a great career in a number of promotions, like as EVOLVE, Lucha Underground, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ricochet joined WWE in 2018. Ricochet was a member of the WWE, having won the WWE United States Championship, WWE NXT North American Championship, and, most recently, the WWE Speed Championship for the first time.
