‘Kalki’ by Rajashekhar was scheduled rather than ‘Kalki’ by Prabhas; the movie is once again packed houses.

The Prabhas film Kalki 2898 AD, titled Housefull 2019 Telugu movie Kalki, is scheduled to open in theatres on June 27. However, there’s a fascinating explanation for that. An error made by fans in their haste to reserve.

Following the launch of Kalki 2898 AD pre-booking, people made reservations using BookMyShow. They reserved seats for the 2019 Telugu movie Kalki rather than Kalki 2898. As a result, several Rajashekhar-starring Kalki programmes have gained a lot of attention.

Rajashekhar, an actor, has also addressed the event. Jokingly, he wrote in X that he was unrelated to it. Best wishes to Nagashwin, Ashwinidat, Priya Prabhas, and Vyjayanthi Films. He said, ‘Let Kalki make history. Tickets for over 20 performances of Rajasekhar’s Kalki have reportedly sold out.

Many others were unaware that the film had changed until after they had purchased their tickets.
BookMyShowX, meantime, stated that all Kalki 2898 AD ticket buyers will receive their tickets and that this was the result of a technical error.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Shobhana, and Anna Ben. In the movie, Prabhas plays the role of Vishnu’s avatar, Bhairava. The obstacles that Bhairava faces in the made-up world of 2898 AD are the subject of the movie.
