Alappuzha: Venugopan Ramat, a Malayalam film director, passed away. His age was sixty-seven. Cherthala hails from the Katakrapally region. The funeral will take place at the home tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Padmarajan and renowned Malayalam filmmaker P. Venugopan collaborate as co-directors. He spent ten years working with Padmarajan. He has co-directed a number of films, including Jaya, Season, Nombarathi Poov, Vyrinthi Thops, and Naam Gandharvan. Kusumi Kurup, a 1995 release, was Venu Gopan’s debut feature film.
