The hitmaker is scheduled to receive a lifetime achievement award at the programme and has four BET Award nominations.
The famous person walked the red carpet with his spouse Jennifer Goicoechea Raymond, mother Jonnetta Patton, brothers J. Lack and Naviyd Raymond and Usher “Cinco” Raymond V.
Along with his effortlessly cool style, he packed light-washed trousers, black boots, a black belt, matching sunglasses, and a white jacket and dress shirt. His family also matched, with Jennifer donning a black midi dress with gold buttons and Patton sporting an elegant all-white suit. His boys, along with music producer J. Lack, were dressed in all-black suits and trainers.

The hitmaker is slated to win the Lifetime Achievement Award, which honours “special achievements and distinguished public service” among industry trailblazers “who have powerfully shifted culture and the entertainment industry,” in addition to his four nominations for BET Awards.
The honour will only add to his already impressive collection of five BET Awards; the most recent one was a tie for best male R&B/pop artist at the 2023 ceremony with celebrity and former partner Chris Brown.

Usher matched the style in a public appearance earlier this month, flaunting a cutting-edge maroon suit on the carpet at the Apollo Theatre Spring Benefit alongside his spouse, where he received the icon award. Jennifer, on the other hand, looked stylish in a crystal camera bag, black and white embroidered button-down, black tights, and an LBD. Shortly after his halftime show during the Super Bowl in February, the couple tied the knot in a modest ceremony in Las Vegas. Usher and Jennifer have a son named Sire Castrello, 2, and a daughter named Sovereign Bo, 3.
Usher gave a particular shoutout to his wife during his acceptance speech, after expressing gratitude to everyone who has supported him throughout his career.
Finally, and most definitely not least, without your enthusiasm, love, and support, Jennifer Raymond, my dearest friend, would not be here. “Baby, I love you,” he murmured. “My spouse is present in the audience this evening. I sincerely appreciate your help and am thrilled that we were able to complete this together. Mother’s Day is the best. I hope you guys would set me up for Father’s Day.”

During his career-spanning Super Bowl Halftime Show in February of this year, Usher showed off his abs while singing through his song catalogue, proving he looked just as fantastic without a shirt. The “OMG” singer looked amazing in a sparkly tank, a blue and black bodysuit, a floor-length wool cloak, and, of course, his signature roller skates during his 13-minute performance on one of the greatest stages in music.
The 2024 BET Awards will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
