Today’s final World Cup qualifier pits Bangladesh vs Lebanon.
Bangladesh is prepared to play Lebanon in their final joint qualifying match for the Asian Cup and the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Tuesday at Al Saad Club Stadium in Doha, a neutral venue.
The game begins at 10 p.m. Bangladesh time and 7 p.m. local time.
In Dhaka, the first leg of the match between visiting Lebanon and host Bangladesh finished in a 1-1 tie.
Hasan Al Mamun, the assistant coach of the Bangladeshi team, stated prior to today’s game: “We will attempt to adapt to local weather in the day’s session and we do hope that we will be able to adjust with local conditions quickly.” The local temperature in Doha is between 45 and 48 degrees Celsius during the day.
Last Thursday, in their home game in Dhaka, hosts Bangladesh gave a brave performance against the six-time World Cup participants, Australia, and ultimately lost by a slim margin of 0–2 goals till the very end.
Mighty Australia will play Palestine in their home encounter on June 11 in Perth. With one game remaining, they emerged as Group I champions and advanced to the next round of the competition with a perfect 15 points from five matches.

Bangladesh stayed at the bottom with one point from five games after drawing 1-1 with Lebanon in their home match in Dhaka, while Lebanon is in third place with three points from five games—three draws and two losses.
Bangladesh previously lost 0–7 goals to Australia in their World Cup away match, drew 1–1 at home against Lebanon, lost 0–5 goals to Palestine in their away match in Kuwait, and shockingly lost 0–1 goals in the final seconds of their home match in Dhaka against Palestine.
