Review of the film Kalki 2898 AD
Kalki 2898 AD has its high points and low points, just like any other movie. Although the story and graphics are excellent, the VFX has a haunting sense of being ‘influenced’ by Mad Max, Transformers, Dune, and even Black Panther. Though not opulent enough for the film’s mythologically rich plot, the background score is distinctive enough to stick in your memory.
While it may appear that the first half drags and is building to the big “Aha” moment, the second half is what really grabs the audience’s attention. Positively speaking, the language delivery is astounding, the stunts are incredible, and the shots are stunning. extremely clear and sharp. Director Nag Ashwin did a fantastic job.
Star Performance in Kalki 2898 AD Movie
When it comes to the star cast’s individual performances, Prabhas excels as the movie’s protagonist. Despite costarring on screen with such iconic performers as Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hassan, he feels resilient. He plays Bhairava, the arrogant bounty hunter, with a cool demeanour and is ideal for the role.
When it comes to Sum80, Deepika Padukone’s portrayal of a pregnant woman on the run who is trying to safeguard her unborn kid who is meant to be “The One,” she excels. As the eight-foot-tall Ashwattama, who has lived on Earth for many periods, Amitabh Bachchan is unquestionably the film’s highlight.
In his new outfit as Kali or Supreme Yaskin, Kamal Hassan is unrecognisable. As an antagonist should be, he gave a genuinely spooky, demonic performance.
A wicked character with a smirk that conveys frightening and psychopathic qualities is played by Saswata Chatterjee, who also wields lasers from his fists. Disha Patani appears in a new avatar, but regrettably, her performance doesn’t seem to have improved much.
