“Stay off the drugs!” Fans chastise the former NBA player for prioritising Reggie Miller’s legacy over LeBron’s.
Rashad McCants, a former NBA shooting guard, has criticised the legacy of LA Lakers superstar forward LeBron James once again. McCants received criticism from NBA fans when he stated that he is more pleased with the career accomplishments of Indiana Pacers icon Reggie Miller.
McCants has long been a vocal opponent of James, having played four seasons each with the Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves between 2005 and 2009.
He declared last year that four-time MVP Kevin Durant, the standout forward for the Phoenix Suns, will conclude his career higher. The 39-year-old also criticised James earlier this year for dodging responsibility for the Lakers’ difficulties.
However, during Tuesday’s “Gil’s Arena” programme, McCants increased the amount of his scrutiny. Former nine-year NBA veteran Brandon Jennings questioned if he “respected” Miller’s legacy more than James’ during a conversation about player empowerment.
