Mumbai, June 20 (IANS): Actor Rajeev Khandelwal, a skeptic, said that his introduction to the yoga community has been nothing short of transformative ahead of International Yoga Day on Friday.

The actor emphasized that practicing yoga had greatly enhanced his performance in other physical pursuits in addition to improving his physical condition.
“Practicing yoga has improved my jogging. My efforts at the gym reduce my possibilities of injury, thus I get significantly better outcomes.”
Rajeev’s favorite yoga posture among several is the headstand.
“Headstands are my favorite. They help me feel as though my body and mind are in harmony. I can strike the position anywhere, at any moment, since I have perfected the technique,” he declared.
Pranayama, the ancient skill of regulated breathing, has been the most transforming experience he has had with yoga.
He said, “I was never the kind to even attempt it.
“I now get up early only to do pranayama. It sustained me even after I tested positive for COVID-19. I skipped the medicine. I simply performed my pranayama three times a day.
