Concerning Munjya Film

 

Munjya is derived from the ancient Brahmraksha legend. Bittu, a bashful college student who lives with his mother and grandmother and harbours strong feelings for his childhood buddy Bela, is the protagonist of the story, which begins in Pune.

Bittu and his family go to their ancestral town one day to attend a cousin’s wedding, but the day turns disastrous since Bittu has unleashed the malevolent beast of his ancestors, whose only dream was to marry his one-sided love, who happens to be Bela’s grandma! Bela, who resembles her grandma in her earlier years, is the target of the Munjya right now. It is now Bittu’s responsibility to protect his family and his love from Munjya.
