Kalabhavan Mani Memorial Award: Best Film, Screenplay and Direction for Mammootty Company Films

Kalabhavan Mani Memorial Awards for Mammootty Company’s Kathal The Core and Kannur Squad films. 

Kochi: Kalabhavan Mani Memorial Awards 2023 has been announced. The awards are for films produced by Mammootty’s company. ‘Cathal the Corey’ was chosen as the best film. The award was accepted by Mammootty’s executive producer George Sebastian and director Jio Baby.

The best screenplay award goes to Kannur Squad. The film’s screenwriters
Mohammad Shafi and Rony David Raj accepted the award. Robbie Varghese Raj also won the best director award. Robbie won the award for his management of the Kannur squad. 

Kannur Squad is a movie released on September 28, 2023. The film, which is based on a true story, also won the best collection. Along with Mammootty, Aziz Nedumangad, Ronnie David Raj, Sabreesh Verma, Kishore and Vijayaraghavan also played lead roles in the film. 

Kathal The Core is a film written by Adarsh ​​Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria and directed by Jio Baby. The film was released in November 2023. Mammootty’s never-before-seen getup, the film won a lot of praise from the audience and critics. Mammootty’s heroine was Jyothika. After a while, Jyothika’s role in the Malayalam film got a lot of attention. Sudhi Kozhikode, RS Panicker, Joji John, Muthumani and Chinnu Chandni played other important characters.
