Kochi: Ramat Venugopan, 67, a film director, passed away. The films he began with include Kushri Kurup, Sharjah to Sharjah, Chunda, Swarnam, The Reporter, and Sir Vopari Palakkaran. Kusriti Kurup, the first movie, came out in 1998.
The movie’s hero was Jayaram. Sir, starring Aparna Balamurali and Anoop Menon, released in 2017. Lastly, there is Vopari Palakara. Venugopa was one of Samvidhayakan Padmarajan’s students.
