In May, Argentina’s inflation drops to 4.2% m/m.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – According to official figures released on Thursday, the monthly inflation rate in Argentina was 4.2% in May. This was lower than the 4.9% predicted by a Reuters poll and lower than the 8.8% rate recorded in April.
In the meantime, inflation in the 12 months ending in May was 276.4%, which was also less than the 279.4% polled estimate.
