EVE Galaxy Conquest is a fresh 4X strategy game for mobile devices, taking place in the EVE Online universe.
Increased number of spacecraft, reduced screen size.
Although EVE Online has witnessed some of the largest PvP battles in gaming history, players are restricted to controlling just one ship at a time. Taking place within the same world but with a unique viewpoint, EVE Galaxy Conquest is a multiplayer 4X strategy game where you control your own base and a whole fleet.
EVE enthusiasts will recognize the factions and warships, yet you can control significant quantities of them without the need to instruct a group of mercenaries on Discord to follow the plan.
In the traditional 4X style, exploring a contested star sector will start with a modest base surrounded by unknown territory that can be taken over, utilized for resources, and battled for. Galaxy Conquest focuses on player versus player interactions, allowing players to create alliances or betray others in order to progress towards the center of the map and face a challenging end-game task. This will require examining, extracting resources, constructing and improving fleets, and navigating player-controlled politics in a manner resembling the MMO.
Galaxy Conquest follows a seasonal format, where each season introduces fresh mechanics and new ships for players. Every season will have a duration of several months. Certain progress will be shared across all accounts, but unlike in EVE Online where controlling a sector may need constant attention, starting a season early will let you establish your own territory without having to deal with long-standing political issues.
We will encounter some important NPCs from the world of EVE, some of whom have never had an official appearance until now.
EVE Galaxy Conquest is set to undergo a soft launch on Android.
