Munjya Box Office Collection Forecast for Day 12
Munjya made 4 crores on its opening day at the box office, off to a very strong start. It was observed that the evening performances had a higher attendance than the early ones. The first week was really successful in terms of audience affection and revenue.
The first week’s total box office receipts came to about 35.3 crores. Munjya’s steady collection for Week 2 is nearly identical to that of Week 1. A lot of high-budget films haven’t achieved this feat in June 2024, but Munjya had already surpassed the 50 crores mark by Day 10, or June 16 of that year.
As of right now, Day 12 of Munjya’s screening has brought in 64.75 crores at the box office.
Munjya Film Strike
There is a mixed impression that Munjya has left on people’s thoughts. The narrative is relatively new, and we get to witness some familiar characters, such as Bittu’s actor Abhay Verma.
Critics and ardent devotees of the Maddock Supernatural universe, however, claim that it falls short in some way in comparison to the earlier flicks.
The soul-switching at the film’s climax and the visual effects and computer graphics are arguably its weakest points. It needed more humour or more intense horror components, in the opinion of the commentators, to genuinely feel like a part of the universe.
Furthermore, the director made a poor choice in trying to tenuously connect this movie to Bhediya.
Concerning Horror-Comedy Munjya Film
Based on the legend of Munjya, which states that a Brahmin boy who passes away within ten days of his sacred thread ceremony transforms into Munjya and longs to marry his first love and be with her in the hereafter, Munjya is a horror comedy.
Beginning with Bittu, who resides in Pune with his mother and grandmother and aspires to be a hairstylist, the story begins. In addition, he had a childhood infatuation on Bela, a Zumba instructor. Bittu is unable to break Bela’s heart because she is already engaged to a foreign man named Cuba.
When Bittu and his family travel to their hometown to attend his cousin’s wedding, Bittu and his uncle get into a fight. Bittu, in a fit of rage, travels into the forest and unintentionally sets his former relative Munjya free.
During the battle, Bittu’s grandma passes away, and Munjya torments Bittu in order to grant Munjya’s wish to wed his first love. Bittu soon learns that Bela’s grandmother was Munjya’s first love! However, Munjya chose to wed Bela because, at this point in her life, Bela had a striking resemblance to her grandmother.
Now, Bittu, along with his best buddy Spielberg and the exorcist Elvis Karim Prabhakar, must save not only his entire family but also the love of his life from the irresponsible and malevolent Munjya.
