Beverley Knight, diva icon, dazzles the Isle of Wight Festival throng in the heat.
During her Sunday afternoon performance on the Main Stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, SUPERSTAR soul singer Beverley Knight had the audience glued to her.
Knight’s large voice and amazing vocal range thrilled the enormous and receptive audience, and the weather matched the atmosphere.
Knight, fifty, who has recently gained recognition as a West End singer with roles in Sister Act and The Bodyguard, sang hit after hit.
Her popular hit Shoulda Woulda Coulda was part of her set, but she also sang Janis Joplin’s Piece of My Heart and, in a more rare move, Radiohead’s Just, demonstrating her flexibility.
