Following Varathan (2018), Fahadh Faasil and Amal Neerad will get back together. Amal released new posters on Saturday to promote his untitled movie.

Amal Neerad, the director, revealed the cast of his upcoming movie, which stars Jyothirmayi, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil. He posted first-look images of the cast on Instagram along with an emoji of folded hands. Fans believe that Park Chan-wook’s popular South Korean action movie Oldboy (2003) served as the inspiration for the posters, despite the fact that he withheld any further details. \

The producers of the untitled movie are Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, and it stars Fahadh, Kunchacko, and Jyothirmayi in the major parts. In the poster, Kunchacko is shown holding a rifle while wearing casual clothing and giving the camera a serious gaze. In Fahadh’s poster, he is seen brandishing a gun at someone while holding a rifle, and Jyothirmayi is shown holding a rifle while wearing dungarees. The performers in all three posters stand out against a blood-red background as they are depicted in monochrome.

People on X (previously Twitter) were immediately reminded of the famous posters Park created for Oldboy after Amal unveiled the posters. “Close enough,” a fan commented on a poster of Choi Min-sik as Oh Dae-su from Oldboy that she had uploaded, along with Fahadh’s from the new movie. posters.

With the caption, “Amal Neerad’s ode to Oldboy,” another person published every Oldboy poster in addition to the ones that Amal had released. His upcoming film, which stars KuBo, FaFa, and Jyothirmayi, is reportedly based on the psychological suspense novel “Ruthinte Lokam.”

Future Projects: Fahadh collaborated with Amal on Varathan (2018) and Iyobinte Pusthakam (2014) films.
