New Delhi. Sonakshi Sinha has become Mrs. Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi got the blessings of father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Poonam Sinha for this interfaith marriage, but the words of her brother Luv Sinha are proof that he is not at all happy with this decision of his sister. Sonakshi’s brother Luv Sinha did not attend this wedding and he also revealed this by sharing a post on X. There have been rumors for a long time about the spoiled atmosphere of the Sinha family due to this relationship.

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan in 2023, Luv talked about sister Sonakshi. He said that as a brother, my concern will always be for her. So, I will be concerned because everyone, superficially, always tries to show that they are good. They try to present themselves in a certain way, but the reality can be very different and I, as a brother, cannot trust anyone blindly. Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv had said, I will do my duty as a brother to check on everyone and I do it like this.

When asked if Luv is possessive about Sonakshi, he replied, ‘I am not possessive, I just like to say what I believe. It is a different matter that she does not listen. She is what she is. She does not listen. Outsiders may benefit, outsiders always have an agenda. I am just thinking as an elder brother.’

Luv further said that he only gives advice out of concern, but if his sister or anyone else wants to make a different choice, it is up to them. Why would I give advice to anyone, not just Sonakshi? I would do it only out of concern, care. Also, if someone wants to jump into the well, even if you try to stop him, he will still do it.

A few days after Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding, Luv shared a post on X saying that he did not attend their wedding because he ‘will not associate with certain people, no matter what.’ He also shared a news article about the groom’s father Iqbal Ratansi, but later deleted the post. He then shared another post which read, ‘The statement that I have wrongly attributed is not my statement. It is that of a senior journalist. The matter is now closed and I will not comment further.’

A few days before the wedding, there were reports that the Sinha family was going through a tough time due to the wedding. The rumours started when Shatrughan Sinha said that he was waiting to receive information about his daughter’s wedding. The veteran actor later clarified that he would attend his daughter’s wedding, and he did so. Sonakshi’s mother and brother Kush were also present at the wedding.
