The reason came to the fore
Kamal Haasan recently gave an interview to Indian Express. In this interview, he was asked about working with Rajinikanth. Kamal Haasan then said, “This will not be a new combination. We have worked together in many films before. After that we decided not to work together. We are not competitors. Our mentors are also the same. Tamil filmmaker K. Balachander is our mentor. There are. We don’t have open competition or animosity like other places, just 2 different ways.”
Kamal Haasan further said, “We have never made any negative comments about each other. We took this decision at the age of 20. Now after 40 years, we stand by this decision.”
