Premalu was unaware that Nazlen had been summoned to the chief; He had to get rid of him because of that shift in the plot: Jis Happiness
Jis Joy directed the investigative crime thriller Thalavan, which starred Asif Ali and Biju Menon. The movie, which opened to positive reviews in theatres, also had a brief cameo by Jaffer Idukki. In the part of Allappan, the star appeared. However, Jis Joy claims that Naslene was the first candidate she considered for the part. The filmmaker claims that he chose not to work with Nazlen and that he had no idea he was in Premalu. Jis Joy was speaking at a CinemaPranthan interview.
Sometimes we would have given up on a character if they weren’t prepared to play Jafar. Jafar showed up for the filming that day prepared to perform the part, which is how such a figure came to be. Actually, at initially, this was not the plan. The character was really young. This was not his plot either. Naslen was the first choice for this part.
I was not aware that Premalu was being filmed at the time. We would not have phoned him if we had known that such a movie was being shown. since he portrays the game’s hero. Nazlen was requested to make a brief cameo appearance. Unfortunately, he mentioned he wouldn’t be doing our film right away. A week from now is the date. assured him we would inform him. I was ecstatic. I have never collaborated with an artist like him before. I know Nazlen quite well now. But back then, knowledge was limited.
Nevertheless, he had the kindness to promise to perform the part when called upon. Later on though, I thought there were more uses for this character. Then it occurred to me that it would be preferable if the person’s arrival had a reason. That’s how the character matured and underwent a transformation. That put an end to Naslen’s first chapter entirely. “I was writing a new chapter at that point,” Jis Joy remarked.
