Alappuzha: The 67-year-old film director Venu Gopan departed. He passed away in his Cherthala, Katakrapalli, home. His directorial credits include Kusumi Kurup, Choonda, Swarnam, Sharjah to Sharjah, and others. Lata the wife, Lakshmi the daughter.
He made his cinematic debut in Padmarajan’s Kariilakattupole as a co-director. Subsequently, he co-directed a number of films, including Naam Gandharvan (1989), Jeya (1989), Season (1989), Nombarathi Poov (1987), and Yekhim Parkan Vyruthi Thops (1986).
